LWML SERVANT PROJECT: The servant project for the fall retreat is building bags for the homeless. LWML is asking for donations to help with the effort. A list of items needed is posted on the back wall along with a box to collect the items. Additionally there is a printed list on the back table that can be taken home. The deadline for donations is Oct 5th. Thank you in advance for serving with LWML.
BELL CHOIR: Are you musically inclined or do you have handbell experience?   Would you like to play handbells please contact Dana. Once the chaos of summer is over, we would like to get the bell choir running again.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY: Next week we begin a study on the Reformation. This year we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Women's Bible Study: Starting Sept 14 at the Sterling Lutheran Church from 6:30-8.  They will be studying the book of John through the Life Light Bible lessons.  The book costs $9.00.  Please let Roberta know if you would like to attend.  r_hildendorf@yahoo.com or 740-3060
SELDOVIA MISSION: Pastor Carlson is leading worship in Seldovia the 3rd Sunday of each month.  To help another church get started and carry out the “Great Commission” locally you may come along with Pastor.  The cost is $124 (round trip).
THE LUTHERAN HOUR: This is a radio ministry of the LCMS and is broadcast on 101.7 F.M. Sundays at 9:05am
DIRECTORIES: The directory is available in larger print than the last one and with more pictures and addresses.  It is still a work in progress.  If your picture isn’t in it, see Pastor or Heather (or you can email one to pastor). Please update your information using the copy on the bulletin board.
READER SIGN UP: There is a calendar on the wall in the back where you can sign up to do a reading on Sunday.  The Sunday readings are on the opposite wall.
