COMMUNION: Those who are baptized, have publicly confessed their faith, repent of their sins, and believe what Jesus says, “this is my body… this is my blood…”, are welcome to receive the Lord’s Supper.

WEDNESDAY SERIVCES: Beginning Wed Nov 22 we’ll be having Wednesday services for Thanksgiving (11/22) and Advent (12/6, 12/13, & 12/20 at 6PM. For Advent services there will be soup and sandwiches starting at 5PM with free will donations going to support Ellery Steffensen.
BELL CHOIR: Would you like to play in the bell choir for the Thanksgiving worship on Nov. 22? Since Sundays are full, we’ll be practicing on Wed. Nov. 8th & 15th from 6:30-7:15pm. If you’ve been wanting to play, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn. Call Dana, if you plan to come or you would like to carpool 907-513-9054.
SUNDAY LUNCHES: The main dish should be approximately 25-30 servings. If you can’t bring a main dish, could you bring a side dish 10-15 servings or a dessert? This is a great way to visit together, after church and welcome guests. See the calendar by the fridge to sign up.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY: Next week we begin a Bible study on the book of Amos. The prophet Amos spoke of social justice. He called the rich and powerful to repent for the way they were treating the poor.
YOUTH GROUP FUND RAISER: Youth group is selling calendars again this year to raise funds for activities. There is a limited number available. See Taby or Stuart after the service if you are interested.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: We will meet at Sterling Lutheran church Dec. 9 at 9am for a breakfast and bible study.
THE LUTHERAN HOUR: This is a radio ministry of the LCMS and is broadcast on 101.7 F.M. Sundays at 9:05am
READER SIGN UP: There is a calendar on the wall in the back where you can sign up to do a reading on Sunday. The Sunday readings are on the opposite wall.
PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN, SELDOVIA: Pastor Carlson is preaching in Seldovia the 3rd Sunday of each month. To help another church get started and carry out the “Great Commission” locally. You may come along with Pastor. The cost is $124 (round trip).
