Voter’s meeting: Today, after the service.
SPAGETTI FEED: The LWML ladies are planning an Italian night fundraiser for May 18th. We’re selling tickets for $5/adult and $3/child. We hope to create awareness about our congregation in our community by having it here. If you’d like to help donate time, some spaghetti ingredients, decorations, or money, we would appreciate it and thank you. Check out the sign-up sheet on the back table.
Needed for Italian Night Fundraiser: 1. A dozen 32oz Tin cans (Please keep only tomato labels attached). 2. Dozens of Large, Rustic or earthy type, Ceramic serving bowls (Attach your name to the bottom). 3. 12 lbs Hamburger 4. Helpers to decorate, prep, cook, serve food, clean up, spread the word and pre-sell tickets. (Italian Night is to raise money for missions so LWML can continue serving our community, locally and supporting missions abroad. We thank you for being a part! Together we are serving others and sharing God’s love.)
Last Day of Sunday School/Bible Class: Our last day of classes will be Sun. May 19th. Classes will resume after Labor Day (Sep. 8).
SUNDAY SCHOOL: We have Sunday School (elementary through Jr. high) classes at 9:30am on Sundays.
CONFIRMATION CLASS: We have confirmation classes for 10yrs or older at 12:30 (during lunch). This is a class for those preparing to make their public confession of faith.
HIGH SCHOOL/ADULT BIBLE CLASS: We are studying the Book of Genesis. We meet at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. Donuts and coffee provided.
WORSHIP HELPER SIGN-UP: There is a calendar (bulletin board by the fridge) where you can sign up to serve for the service (usher, lector/reader, and serving lunch) on Sunday.
FRED MEYER REWARDS: Link your Rewards Card to your church, just log in to your online account (Funny River Community Lutheran Church is #BG266). NOTE: This number changed. Rewards Customers still get their normal Rewards Points, Fuel Points and Rebates.
THE LUTHERAN HOUR: This is a radio ministry of the LCMS and is broadcast on 101.7 FM Sundays at 9:05am
